Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang Sightseeing Tours (L or D)

Welcome you to Luang Prabang, the ancient town of Laos. As soon as you set your foot in Luang Prabang international airport, our guide and driver will pick you up and transfer to your hotel. Have a rest and start to visit the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. To begin with, we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai.

Then, we head off to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa and to enjoy a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong river. At Night, it’s time for you to explore the Night Market – the busiest area in Luang Prabang, where you can find a lovely item, the handmade textiles made by the local and hill tribe people living surrounding Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – Cruising Trip to Pak Ou Caves – Luang Prabang (B)

After breakfast, enjoy a short guided tour taking you to the main point of interest which includes the city’s oldest temple Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its low sweeping roofs, representing classical Laotian architecture.

Then, board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, you will be immersed in the panoramic view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. In front of you, you will see a thousand Buddhist statues with various shapes and sizes which is brought from the pilgrims. Don’t stop that let’s walk deeper into the cave, you will be surprised by two linked caves crammed, Tham Ting and Tham Theung which never make you disappointed.

Continuing the visit, we stop at Ban Xang Hai village, where the rice wine is produced. Then, we move to Ban Phanom, the village is famous for its hand weaving. If time permits, we will drop in Ban Xang Khong and Ban Xienglek, the small villages well known for silk weavings and for Saa papermaking.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Khuang Si Waterfalls – Hill Tribe Villages (B)

Today, let’s wake up early to take part in the daily morning rituals of saffron-clad monks collecting offerings of Alm from the faithful residents.

Please tell your guide a day in advance if you wish to make an offering so he/she can prepare some food for you to hand over to the monks. Or you could buy the food on the spot. This early morning ritual dates back generations in Laos. Watch the town come to life in the morning then return to the hotel for breakfast or join the locals for a bowl of delicious noodle soup after the alms giving ritual. (If you do not wish to make an offering, please keep an appropriate distance and observe the ritual in silence. Dress appropriately – shoulders, chest, and legs should be covered). The Morning Alm Giving has become a unique culture in Laos, make Laos becomes more special and more beautiful in your eyes. Then, move to Phousi Market where you will see an exciting atmosphere, the locals go to buy food to prepare for the meals. The market where you also see the traditional ingredients, which only Laos have.

We know that Laos is well known for its traditional handicrafts, and today we lead you to visit local villages of Laos ethnic minority groups at Ban Ouay, Hmong Hill tribe, Ban Ou, Lowland Lao and Ban Thapene of Khmu village where you can see clearly how the Laotian make the handicrafts.

Continuing your trip, we move to one of the most waterfalls in Laos, Kuang Si Waterfall. What’s interesting when you can dip into the large turquoise pools or walk along the forest paths. Set your foot into the cool water, it seems that most the worry disappear. Relax in time, and we back to Luang Prabang by late afternoon. on the way, we spend a short time to visit a well known traditional weaving village, then observing the sunset by the late evening at Wat Siphouthabath.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Vientiane Flight (B)

Today, start your visit go to the national museum at the former Royal Palace, which displaces a collection of artifacts reflecting the richness of Laos culture dating from the days of the early kings right through to the last sovereign.
Before taking our afternoon flight to the heart of Laos, Vientiane, we spend a little time to drop in the Centre Market.

Take a short nap in the airplane, you’re in the Wattay international airport. After transferring to the hotel, start exploring Vientiane with a sightseeing tour of some of the major sights of the capital. Exactly, your Vientiane tour is dispensible the oldest temple Wat Sisaket with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Images.

Obviously, a visit to Vientiane, we will go to the symbol of Laos, Pha That Luang, which is known as one of the oldest temples in Laos. On the way back to your hotel, you will be headed off to the Patuxay Monument, located in the large space, the monument becomes more beautiful than ever with the architecture from the French colony.

Day 5: Vientiane – Pakse – Champasak – Wat Phou Cruising Trip (B, L, D)

Continue your journey to Pakse, your flight are at 6.30 a.m, on arrival you will be met and transferred to the Wat Phou Cruise leaving Pakse for Champasak at 10:00 a.m the Wat Phou is a 34 meter long, air-conditioned converted rice barge consisting of twelve twin rooms, all of which are ensuite.
In the front upper deck, there is a large shaded which is perfect for relaxing and gazing at the passing long scenic stretches and a restaurant onboard. On the board and we head to the south, arrive at Champasak in time for a riverside lunch. Then, follow your guide, here you will listen to the mysterious stories of Angkorian 10th century temple of Wat Phou, the boat’s namesake.

Next, to the trip, we will visit Wat Phou, which is a wonderful archeological site of Khmer civilization, predating the famous Angkor Wat in Cambodia. As Dusk falls, we board the Wat Phou for a relaxing cruise downriver, enjoying the tropical sunset on the deck. You will be served on board, while the boat docks for the night alongside a remote Laotian village.

Day 6: Huei Thamo – Oum Moung Temple – Khong Island Cruising Tour (B, L, D)

Enjoy a special breakfast on board, we will sail for the village of Huei Thamo, which is only a few minutes walk away from the spectacular hidden Ancient forest temple of Oum Moung. Return to the boat for a leisurely cruise southbound and enjoy lunch on the deck, continuing your trip move to the south to the wild paradise of the “4000 islands” region.

Take a nap before we arrive at Ban Dua Tae, which is a traditional Laotian Village where the traditional way of life has not changed in centuries. A visit brings you many valuable lessons about the traditional village life, the daily activities within the village. Especially, in this evening, you will enjoy a quiet dinner on board, under the stars, serenaded by the songs by the songs of the buffalo toads. What’s interesting!!

Day 7: Ban Veuthong – Khong Pha Peng waterfall – Xieng Di – Pakse Cruising Vacation (B, L)

Today, let’s enjoy a special breakfast on the upper deck while cruising to the small village of Ban Veuthong, where we will board a small longtail, boat to Khong Island, which is the largest island in the 4000 islands region. After visiting the beautiful island, we take a long-tail boat back to the mainland for lunch amid the bygone splendid of another age.

Then, we will transfer by minivan to the encaptivating, scenic splendor of the Khong Pha Peng waterfall, “ the Niagara of the East”, which is close to the Cambodian border. Take two – hour journey by road, we return to Pakse in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

Day 8: Pakse Departure (B)

At the end of your tour, enjoy the largest breakfast in Laos. Take a lot of photos, or sit on the corner of café and wait for our diver transfer you to the airport. Say goodbye to Laos.
