Day 1: Arrival – Luang Prabang – Half Day City Tour
Day 2: Luang Prabang
Day 3: Luang Prabang – Living Land Rice Experience – Kuang Si Waterfall
Day 4: Luang Prabang – Mahout Experience
Day 5: Luang Prabang – Vientiane
Day 6: Vientiane – Buddha Park – Departure

Day 1: Luang Prabang Arrival (D)

Arriving at Luang Prabang International Airport, you will be met and be transferred to the hotel. After you have relaxed to recharge your energy, we will wander the riverside and visit scatted ancient temples of the town. In the late afternoon, we will soak into the bustling night market to taste the mouthwatering local food and pick up unique souvenirs. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 2: Luang Prabang City Tour (B)

We start the day with a visit to the temples Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Mai to see monks in saffron robes doing their daily chores. After that, we will appreciate the beauty of the National Museum which was the Royal Palace in the past. Climbing up to the top of Mount Phousi to get a breathtaking view of the city. This city tour also enables you to take part in a Baci ceremony where you will have white cotton strings ties around your wrist for good luck.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Living Land Rice Experience – Kuang Si Waterfall (B, L)

After breakfast, we begin our journey to the Living Land Rice Experience where your family has a great time together. Your kids will be extremely excited when they try their hand at their daily chores. After this memorable experience, we continue to visit the Living Crafts Centre to learn about textile and crafts. You also have a chance to see artisans weaving on traditional looms, then cool down with a dip in the turquoise pools of Kuang Si Waterfall. Finish your day with an interesting visit to a rescue center for cute furry sun bears.

Day 4: Luang Prabang – Mahout Experience (B)

Breakfast at hotel, we will enjoy a day out with the elephants in Mahout Experience, where you and your family will learn all the secrets to looking after these gentle giants. After a quick driving lesson, you will climb on board your elephant for a ride along a jungle path to the river. Then the wet and wild fun begins as the elephants take their bath and their trunks turn into water pistols! After that, we will hop on a boat and head off to nearby Tad Sae Waterfall for a swim.

Day 5: Luang Prabang – Fly to Vientiane (B)

This morning we have an early flight to Vientiane the laidback Laos Capital. After checking into your hotel, we will head to Wat Sisaket Vientiane which is the oldest-surviving monastery with a thousand Buddha statues. We also visit Hor Pha Ke – A museum with a turbulent history and Pha That Luan – a national symbol of Laos with its golden stupa and Patouxai, Vientiane’s Arc de Triumph, and a window into its French-colonial history.

Day 6: Vientiane – Buddha Park – Departure (B)

After an early breakfast, we will head to Buddha Park to discover the weird and quirky statues. You will be mesmerized by the beauty of the park which is the folly of Luang Pu Bunleuna Sulilat, a monk, shaman and mystic of Hinduism and Buddhism. The rest of the day is free – until your transfer to Vientiane’s international airport. Trip concludes.
